Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern access to prepost.social and the Prepost beta dashboard, API, MCP tools, and social-platform connections.
Use Prepost only with accounts and content you are allowed to manage. You keep ownership of your content and authorize only the processing needed to provide the actions you request. The current beta is free and may change while real platform access is being verified.
01Agreement and operator
By creating an account or using an authenticated Prepost feature, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. Public pages and free tools may be visited without an account. If you do not agree, do not use the authenticated service.
Prepost is the public name of the beta service at prepost.social. The full statutory operator identity, address, and paid-contract information must be published before paid production service begins.
02Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into these Terms.
- If you use Prepost for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.
- Provide accurate account information, keep access methods secure, and promptly report suspected misuse.
- Each user should use their own account. Workspace invitations and roles must be used instead of sharing passwords, login codes, session cookies, or API keys.
- The workspace owner is responsible for membership, connected accounts, billing choices when enabled, and authorised use within that workspace.
03What the beta service does
Prepost helps users prepare, upload, customise, publish, and schedule content for selected social accounts. It also provides content history, per-platform status, an API, and MCP tools where enabled.
The service is in beta. Features, limits, supported formats, and platform availability may change. A locally implemented connector is not advertised as production-ready until the relevant platform has approved access and Prepost has verified a real staging publication.
05Your content and permission to publish
You keep ownership of content you upload. You give Prepost a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, adapt for technical platform requirements, and transmit that content only to operate, secure, and support the service you request. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to backups, legal retention, and copies already sent to a platform.
You are responsible for captions, media, links, claims, targeting, timing, permissions, licences, releases, and the decision to publish. Do not upload material you are not allowed to use.
06Acceptable use
- Do not use Prepost for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, infringing, exploitative, or privacy-invasive activity.
- Do not distribute malware, steal credentials, evade platform controls, automate spam, manipulate engagement, or publish the same prohibited material across accounts.
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, bypass limits, access another workspace, or expose credentials and private media.
- Respect applicable law, intellectual-property rights, advertising rules, consumer rules, and every connected platform's terms.
07Scheduling and delivery
A schedule is an instruction to attempt publication at the selected time, not a guarantee of exact delivery or reach. Network delay, media processing, expired authorization, platform review, platform limits, outages, or invalid content can affect the result.
Review the per-platform result in Prepost. You are responsible for correcting failed content and for checking the final post on the destination platform.
08API and MCP access
- An API key or MCP authorization acts with the permissions of its workspace. Store it securely, grant it only to trusted tools, and revoke it when no longer needed.
- You are responsible for instructions sent by your automation or AI assistant and must review high-impact publishing actions.
- Rate limits and safety controls may be applied to protect users, providers, and the service.
09Beta access and future billing
The current beta does not charge a payment card. Public pricing describes planned offers and does not activate a paid subscription by itself.
Before paid plans start, Prepost will display the operator identity, total price, billing period, trial and renewal rules, cancellation method, refund and statutory consumer information, and any plan limits. Stripe will process card payments. No user will be charged under these beta Terms alone.
10Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using Prepost, disconnect accounts, delete available content, revoke API keys, and request account deletion at any time. Workspace ownership or shared records may need to be transferred before a user can be fully removed.
Prepost may limit or suspend access where reasonably needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, provider protection, material breach, or service integrity. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.
11Service responsibility
The beta is provided with reasonable care but may be interrupted or changed. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prepost is not responsible for a platform's independent decision, lost reach, indirect loss, or content a user chose to publish.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or other non-waivable responsibility.
12Law, changes, and contact
Mandatory law that applies to the user and the operator continues to apply. These Terms do not remove protections available to an EEA consumer in their country of residence. A specific governing law and dispute forum will be added with the operator's statutory details before paid launch.
We may update these Terms as the beta changes. Material changes will be communicated in the product or by email where appropriate. Continued authenticated use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated Terms; if you disagree, stop using the service and request deletion.
