Current beta state
Billing is planned but remains gated until Stripe test credentials and the release process are ready.
The public website can explain the founding offer, but it should not collect a payment card until checkout, customer portal, webhook handling, and deployment checks are complete.
What beta users should expect
Before public beta, Prepost needs a tested checkout, customer portal, webhook flow, and workspace entitlement state.
During early beta preparation:
- joining the beta list should not require a card;
- the founding price can be reserved as interest, not charged immediately;
- invoice/subscription support should be handled manually until billing is live.
When trial language can go live
Trial language can go live after:
- Stripe products and prices are configured;
- checkout works in the intended environment;
- webhook events update workspace access correctly;
- cancellation/customer portal flow is tested;
- staging and production smoke checks pass.
Support path
Billing questions during beta should be handled manually until the billing flow is enabled.
