Schedule posts

Platform publishing options

Configure Stories, Trial Reels, TikTok mobile drafts, video covers, and first comments.

Instagram and Facebook Stories

Choose **Story** in the platform details. A Story uses exactly one image or video and does not include a feed caption or first comment. Instagram and Facebook eligibility is checked again when the post is published.

Instagram Trial Reels

For an eligible Instagram professional account and one video, enable **Publish as Trial Reel**. You can keep graduation manual or request a performance-based graduation. Instagram makes the final eligibility decision.

TikTok mobile completion

Enable **Send to TikTok for mobile completion** to hand the upload to TikTok instead of publishing it directly. TikTok sends an inbox notification; open it in the TikTok mobile app to finish editing and publish. Also declare AI-generated content when the post requires that label.

TikTok photo posts accept between one and 35 images. Choose the photo cover and whether TikTok should add recommended music. Photo title and description limits are checked before the post is saved.

Video cover frame

For supported video targets, enter the frame time in seconds. Prepost sends the matching timestamp to the platform. This selects a frame from the video; it does not upload a separate thumbnail image.

First comment

Instagram feed posts, Facebook Page feed posts, and LinkedIn posts can include an optional first comment. Prepost publishes the post first and then creates the comment.

The comment has its own success or failure result. A failed comment never causes the already successful parent post to be published again.

All real provider options still require an approved app, the correct account permissions, and a successful staging test before production activation.
